Parent Support & Behaviour Coaching · Phone or Zoom

A space to talk.
A plan to move forward.

Parenting can feel like a lot to carry. Beside You Parenting gives you a private, non-judgemental place to say what is really happening at home, understand your child's behaviour and work towards practical next steps that fit your family.

The Beside You Parenting approach

Listen first. Understand. Then plan.

You won't be rushed into a list of generic parenting tips. The process starts by understanding you, your child and what life at home actually looks like.

01 · LISTEN

Tell me what's happening

Use the first call to speak openly about what has been difficult, what you have noticed and how it is affecting family life.

02 · UNDERSTAND

Look beneath the behaviour

We explore patterns, possible triggers, routines, developmental needs and what you have already tried.

03 · PREPARE & PLAN

Make it practical

I take time to reflect on what you have shared. In the follow-up, we discuss realistic options and build an achievable plan together.

04 · SUPPORT & REVIEW

Keep checking in

If you want ongoing support, we can review progress, adjust strategies and talk through new challenges as they arise.

Choose the support you need

No long-term commitment. No pressure.

Start with one conversation. Come back for a follow-up if it feels useful, or choose fortnightly or weekly support when you want more consistency.

START

Initial Listening Call

£50 · 60 minutes

A private first conversation focused on listening, understanding and gathering the bigger picture. The aim isn't to fix everything in an hour.

NEXT STEP

Follow-Up Support Call

£40 · 60 minutes

We bring things together, discuss relevant information and strategies, and agree practical next steps that feel realistic for your family.

FORTNIGHTLY

Fortnightly Support

£75 · 2 × 60-minute calls/month

Two calls each month for reflection, accountability, new challenges and adjusting your plan. A consistent option without needing a call every week.

Prefer flexibility? Additional individual follow-up calls can be booked for £40 per 60-minute call.

Challenging behaviour

Patterns, triggers, responses and understanding what may sit behind difficult moments.

Routines & boundaries

Mornings, bedtime, transitions, consistency and finding approaches that work in real family life.

Communication

Finding ways to connect, communicate and respond to your child with greater confidence.

Feeling overwhelmed

A private place to say the things you may not feel comfortable saying elsewhere.

Family changes

Thinking about how separation, relationship difficulties, loss or other changes may be affecting parenting and family life.

Your next step

Turning a complicated situation into a small number of practical, achievable actions.

About me

The person behind Beside You Parenting.

Early years experience, child development knowledge and a calm, compassionate approach to supporting families.

Hi, I’m the person behind Beside You Parenting.

I’m an Early Years Practitioner with a degree in Early Childhood Studies and several years of experience working closely with young children in preschool settings, as well as through private babysitting.

One of the biggest things my experience has taught me is that behaviour is communication. When a child is struggling, I don’t just look at the behaviour in front of me. I want to understand what may be happening underneath it: what the child is feeling, what happened beforehand, what they may be trying to communicate and what they need from the adults around them.

My approach with children is calm, patient and compassionate. I believe children need to know that their feelings are valid, while also having adults who can provide reassurance, boundaries and guidance. Once a child feels calmer and supported, I gently help them move forward and, where appropriate, revisit situations through play or conversation so they can begin to understand their emotions.

Over the years, I have developed a strong ability to observe children’s behaviour and emotional needs. Children will often come to me when they are upset, worried or need reassurance, and creating that sense of trust and safety is something I value enormously.

My experience of caring goes beyond the classroom

For more than ten years, I also helped care for my father. That experience strengthened my patience, resilience and compassion and gave me a deeper understanding of what it means to care for another person while navigating the emotions and realities that can come with being a caregiver.

Why I created Beside You Parenting

I understand that behind every child who may be struggling, there is often a parent trying to work out what to do next, and sometimes that parent needs support too.

Parents are expected to manage so much. Sometimes you don’t necessarily need someone to tell you what to do. You need somewhere you can say, “This is what’s actually happening at home.” and know that you’ll be listened to without judgement.

That’s what I want Beside You Parenting to provide: a private space where we can talk honestly about what’s happening, look at your child’s behaviour and development, consider the wider circumstances affecting your family and work together on practical next steps that feel realistic for you.

I’m not here to tell you how you must parent. I’m here to listen, understand and stand beside you as we work through it together.

Clear professional boundaries

Beside You Parenting provides coaching and parent support. It is not therapy, counselling, psychological diagnosis or emergency mental health support. Where something falls outside the scope of the service, appropriate specialist support may be signposted. Safeguarding responsibilities also apply where there are concerns about a child's or person's safety.
